The Priestess holds an open jar of peanut butter aloft...
The Priest holds a bar of chocolate hovering over the jar...
Priestess: "Your chocolate got in my peanut butter"
Priest: "Your peanut butter got on my chocolate"
Both: "Together they are one in taste...."
What better way to celebrate April Fool's Day AND the Veneralia (feast of Venus) than The Chocolate Ritual!
Join us on Sunday, April 1st at 1pm for an updated version of The Chocolate Ritual and a chocolate fondue party to follow.
The location is The Kaplan Assembly Room (Rm.101) in the LGBT Center in NYC
208 West 13th Street New York, NY 10011
Tickets cost $10 in advance ($15 at the door) and include the ritual, fondue party and a Pagan themed chocolate to take home (while supplies last)! We will have Pagan chocolates and mints for sale including Chocolate Altar Tools! Pagan Pride T-shirts will be available as well.
Advance tickets can be purchased via paypal:
We will also be at the Pagan Expo on 3/18 and available before and after the event so you can get your tickets in person.
All proceeds go towards the Maypole Joe Memorial Scholarship Fund. Last year we raised $500. This year our goal is to award $1,000 to a Pagan student in the greater New York area.
If you have any questions or would like a part in the ritual, please email Beth@nycppp.org.
Please send this invitation far and wide.
We would love to have the participation of
the entire community for the benefit of the entire community!
