Through a combination of demonstrations, vignettes, narrated boat cruises, and battle reenactments, visitors will experience the British advance for Lake George. Become immersed in this 18th-century siege; featuring the constant roar of cannon, thrilling battle reenactments, and even a nighttime program where visitors are immersed in the battle for Carillon, named Ticonderoga by the British once they capture the fort from the French.

The market will take place on Saturday’s from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM through the end of September. Located on a beautiful green space near the LaChute River, just off Montcalm Street (behind Glens Falls National Bank, intersection of McCormick Street and Champlain Avenue) the market offers an array of local products, produce, live music, kids activities, special events, and more. A Revolutionary Anthology: Power of Place features more than 100 objects many on public display for the FIRST TIME EVER

Ticonderoga, N.Y. -- Fort Ticonderoga, a museum, National Historic Landmark historic site, and major cultural destination, announces the OPENING of a major new 250th Anniversary exhibit program entitled, A Revolutionary Anthology.  The first year of this exhibit program, A Revolutionary Anthology: Power of Place, is now open to the public through October 27, 2024.

Lake Placid, N.Y. -- Seventy-four cars will be leaving en masse from Lake Placid as part of Rally North America’s “Sunshine Rally”, an annual scavenger hunt and fundraising event. The group will receive a send-off from local officials, residents and visitors as they prepare for the next leg of the journey. Cars will be decorated and many teams will be in costume, offering myriad photo and video opportunities.
