Proctor Memorial BuildingScheduled for Saturday, July 13, 2024

Utica, N.Y. - Oneida County History Center will host an open house at the Proctor Memorial Building. This historical landmark located in downtown Utica at Bagg Commemorative Park will be open for tours on July 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visitors will explore the rich history of the building that was once the site of many important events in the city.

“Land of the Oneidas” author visits Chenango CountyNorwich, N.Y. – The Chenango County Historical Society (CCHS) is excited to partner with C.S. Miller Books and the Otselic Valley Fishing and Heritage Association to offer an engaging community program: “Journey Through Chenango: Land of the Oneidas.” This two-part book and discussion series, with interactive elements, offers interested community members the opportunity to receive free copies of two titles related to Oneida culture.

Miro QuartetCooperstown, N.Y. (July 8, 2024) - The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival presents the acclaimed Miró Quartet in "Voices from Home" on Thursday, July 18 at 7pm at The Farmers' Museum.

The $50,000 project provides the public, including people with mobility challenges, access to recreational kayaking and car-top size boating on Otsego Lake.
