This event combines craft beverages, specialty food, and crafts into a unique showcase for local producers. The setting is the Hilltop Barn, a popular venue for weddings and other celebrations known for its stunning views and rustic charm. All profits from this event will be donated to benefit the Park.

Rochester, N.Y. – Rohrbach Brewing, Three Heads Brewing, and Strangebird Brewing are proud to announce that they will be teaming up to create a trio of unique specialty beers to commemorate the once-in-a-lifetime total eclipse over Rochester, NY on April 8^th, 2024. Each beer will represent one of three phases of a total eclipse: The Lighter Side, The Darker Side, and Totality. The beers will be released in unison on March 11^th, 2024, and will be available in cans at local retailers, as well as on tap at local bars and restaurants.

Dutchess County’s Revolutionary War Impact Highlighted

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. (February 15, 2024) – Dutchess Tourism, Inc. (DTI) announced the launch of Commander in Cheers, an innovative augmented reality initiative aimed at sparking new engagement with the Revolutionary War history of Dutchess County, kicking off a multiyear celebration of the United States of America’s Semiquincentennial on July 4, 2026. This innovative project will spotlight the roles Dutchess County played in the Revolutionary War and highlight its contributions to American history. The campaign represents a collaborative effort between DTI, Dutchess County Historian William P. Tatum III, Ph.D., technology partner Evercoast and DTI’s agency of record, FourthIdea, to create an immersive experience that educates, entertains, and inspires visitors of all ages.

Debuts on Fri. Dec. 15 at Wild Lights

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced premium sake maker Dassai, celebrated the opening of their $80 million, 55,000 square foot, state-of-the-art brewery and tasting room in Hyde Park, Dutchess County, and the launch of their new U.S. brand, Dassai Blue. Over the past thirty years, Dassai has experienced exponential growth in Japan, the U.S. and globally. Opening their New York brewery is their latest expansion into the global sake market.

Schenectady, N.Y. (September 15, 2023) – Discover Schenectady is re-branding its popular Schenectady Ale Trail to include the county’s distilleries and meadery. The trail will now be known as Schenectady Sips – Craft Beverage Trail. The trail features six breweries including Back Barn Brewing Co., Druthers Brewing Co., Frog Alley Brewing Co., Great Flats Brewing, Seven Points Brewery and Wolf Hollow Brewing Co. New to the trail are the Schenectady Distilling Co., Murray’s Fools Distilling Co. and Helderberg Meadworks.

Dekalb Market Hall and Sixpoint Brewery Shake It Up!

Brooklyn, N.Y. – The annual festival that celebrates Bavarian culture, food, and beer is coming to Downtown Brooklyn for an Oktoberfest Bash hosted by DeKalb Market Hall and Sixpoint Brewery.  Inspired by the annual German festival, the event will include authentic eats, games, and activities for all ages. Traditional music and throwback tunes from the Street Brass Band and Shag Horns will keep the party going and people dancing all day.  The Oktoberfest Bash is free and will take place on Saturday, September 23 from 12 pm – 10 pm downstairs at City Point, which is located at 445 Albee Square West in Downtown Brooklyn.
