Auburn, NY (April 18, 2024) – Schweinfurth Art Center has opened registration for its eight half-day sessions of Summer Art Camp, which run in July and August.

Riverhead, NY (April 3, 2024) – Hallockville Museum Farm in Riverhead and Farm Hands educational programs are collaborating to offer a special series of activity-based workshops for children called Spring Saturdays on the Farm. Four hands-on play and crafting sessions based on East End agricultural, natural and cultural history themes will be offered at Hallockville on Saturday mornings April 13, May 11, June 1 and June 22.

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will commemorate the birthday of 1973 Triple Crown winner and Hall of Fame member Secretariat with a variety of children’s activities and a special showing of the Disney film Secretariat on Saturday, March 30.  The celebration will coincide with the final day of the Museum’s exhibition A Tremendous Machine: Celebrating the 50^th Anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown.

Destiny USA to Host a Week of Mom-Approved Events from Monday, February 19th - Friday, February 23rd

Multigenerational workshops feature viewing art, making art

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (January 26) — The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College announces the return of its popular Family Saturdays, with two workshops each month from February through May. The first Family Saturday will be on February 3 at 2 pm. For Family Saturday: Floating Sculptures, participants will view Steve Roden’s spatial score in the Tang atrium, talk about it, and create their own floating sculptures using tissue paper, cardstock, and string.
