National History Day Workshops are in partnership with Warren County Historical Society & Clinton County Historical Association

Ticonderoga, N.Y. -- Fort Ticonderoga will partner with the Warren County Historical Society to host a free workshop for middle and high school teachers on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 4-5pm and the Clinton County Historical Association on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 4:00-5:00pm. The workshop will introduce teachers to the National History Day program and the process for preparing students to participate. These workshops are open to all educators, whether or not they have prior experience with National History Day.

New York, NY — The World Premiere of Michael Shapiro’s VOICES is set to take place at New York City's famed Central Synagogue at 7:30 pm, Thursday, November 10, 2022 (652 Lexington Avenue, E. 55^th Street). This performance will feature Daniel Mutlu, the Senior Cantor of Central Synagogue, Ember Choral Arts, and the American Modern Ensemble, conducted by Deborah Simpkin King.

‘Entanglement’ soars above the atrium of the new Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences

Artist in conversation with faculty members from physics and math on Nov. 17

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (Oct. 25, 2022) — Skidmore College is excited to announce the installation of the first permanent work of art for a College building, Entanglement, a monumental, site-specific sculpture by acclaimed artist Alyson Shotz in the new Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences.

To mark the occasion, Shotz will speak about her work with two Skidmore College faculty members on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m.

The public is welcome to visit with Pine Bush staff and current volunteers on Wednesday, November 2nd from 7-8 pm at the Discovery Center at 195 New Karner Road, Albany NY.
