Creativity in Bloom’ exhibitNorwich, N.Y. – The Chenango County Historical Society (CCHS) launches the 2025 museum season with special Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 1. The Community Gallery will host “Creativity in Bloom: The Storied Illustrations of Suzanne Bloom,” a career retrospective with exclusive exhibit art created by Chenango County’s own award-winning children’s author and illustrator.

Staatsburgh’s popular “The REAL Gilded Age: America’s Elite in the Downton Abbey Era” and “A Life in Service” theme tours, offered this March, will explore two separate topics of Gilded Age history.

Off-Broadway previews begin April 18, Opens April 21, Runs through May 4

New York, NY – La MaMa proudly presents the world premiere of Soho Think Tank and One-Eighth Theater’s CLASS DISMISSED, written by Robert Lyons and directed by Daniel Irizarry, with original compositions by Rhys Tivey. CLASS DISMISSED runs Off-Broadway April 18 – May 4, 2025 in a limited engagement at La MaMa’s Ellen Stewart Theatre, located at 66 East 4th Street in New York City. Previews begin April 18 for an April 21 opening.

National Museum of Racing and Hall of FameSaratoga Springs, N.Y. — Eight racehorses, seven trainers, and one jockey account for the 16 finalists that will comprise the National Museum of Racing’s 2025 Hall of Fame ballot, as chosen by the Museum’s Hall of Fame Nominating Committee. The finalists are racehorses Blind Luck, Game On Dude, Groupie Doll, Havre de Grace, Kona Gold, Lady Eli, Rags to Riches, and Smarty Jones; trainers Christophe Clement, Kiaran P. McLaughlin, Kenneth G. McPeek, H. Graham Motion, Doug F. O’Neill, John W. Sadler, and John A. Shirreffs; and jockey Jorge F. Chavez. Groupie Doll, Smarty Jones, and McPeek are each a finalist for the first time.

Opening to the public on April 9, 2025, American Sublime considers Amy Sherald’s powerful impact on contemporary art and culture, bringing together almost fifty paintings spanning her career from 2007 to the present.
