Dynamite Hill Recreation Area of the Town of Chester offers year-round enjoyment with no admission fees for residents and visitors alike. In the winter, Dynamite Hill offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, downhill tubing, and ice skating. There’s even night skiing, a tow rope, and a warming hut! Dynamite Hill now offers a new trail system with variety of terrain for hiking, cross-country skiing, single track bicycling or snowshoeing. The trails offer a great way to get outside and into the Adirondack forest.
