Million Dollar Beach

The Lake George Beach opened in 1951 at a cost of $1 million, hence it’s name. This magnificent 51-acre beach on the southernmost shore of Lake George is a summer dream come true! This state-owned public beach is FREE and includes a bath house, lifeguards, and food concessions. Bring a picnic lunch and beach umbrella and make a day of it. A public boat inspection station, boat wash, and boat launch are located adjacent to the beach area.
