Since 1972, Hawthorne Valley Farm has been producing high quality, Biodynamic and organic foods while providing farm-based learning experiences for children and adults. The 400-acre Biodynamic farm includes dairy cows, vegetables, a creamery, organic bakery, sauerkraut cellar, and more. The Farm Store is a full-line natural foods store open 7 days a week. Learn about land stewardship practices and the role of agriculture in education, cultural enrichment and scientific inquiry during a guided tour. Public tours held on the 1st and 3rd Wed of month at 11am, donations accepted, advance notice of arrival is required. Visitors are also welcome to take a self-guided tour; maps are available in the Farm Store. TasteNY attraction.
