An official Path Through History Site! For 100 years, Long Island has made significant contributions to aerospace development. The Cradle of Aviation Museum has a theater and planetarium alongside eight exhibit galleries containing 70 air and spacecraft. The museum holds one of most diverse aerospace collections in the world. From early biplanes to an original full size lunar module, visitors can explore Long Island's vibrant aerospace industry, including many of the airplanes that helped the US and its allies triumph in World War II.
