Chautauqua Institution, a haven for the arts, presents iconic speakers and performers. Founded in 1879, Lily Dale Assembly is now the world's largest center for the religion of Spiritualism. The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum & Comedy Center in Jamestown celebrates America's First Couple of Comedy and hosts a comedy festival every August. The National Comedy Center, with more than 50 interactive exhibits on the art of comedy, is a must-visit for fans of laughter of fun.

Farmer’s markets offer fresh seasonal produce and tons of grapes! The Lake Erie Wine Country trail includes 23 wineries. Southern Tier and Ellicottville Brewing Companies present tours and award-winning craft brews. Follow New York's Amish Trail to farmstands and shops with hand-crafted furniture, quilts, and tasty specialties.
