If beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder, New York fine arts galleries and tours give everyone plenty to behold and appreciate! Seeing famous works of fine art that you’ve only seen on the Internet or in textbooks makes a lasting impression and is an undeniable thrill.

Many well-established fine arts galleries and museums, such as MoMA, The Met, Gagosian, The Guggenheim and countless other New York City galleries and collections offer tours to closely view great masterpieces, modern and contemporary works, and original artworks in all styles.

Burchfield Penney Art Center has a dual focus – keepers of the past and explorers of ‘the next’ – with a concentration on the works of Charles E. Burchfield and other distinguished western New York artists. Albright-Knox Gallery, CEPA Gallery and Rochester Contemporary are three well-respected and often-visited fine arts destinations in the Great Lakes region. Heading south, you’ll find New York Native American arts at Seneca Iroquois National Museum.

In the Adirondacks, when you visit The Hyde Collection, you may view many of the world’s most famous works from Rembrandt, Rubens, Picasso and others, and tour the historic 1912 American Renaissance mansion and gardens.
